ISO 26000– A Social Responsibility Strategy

ISO 26000-2010 is an International standard for a Social Responsibility Strategy and provides guidance rather than requirements, on how businesses and organizations can operate in a socially responsible way, which means acting in an ethical and transparent way that contributes to the health and welfare of the society. Additionally, it is designed for all types of organizations regardless of their activity, size or location.

The ISO 26000:2010 standard is not intended or appropriate for certification purposes.
